About Core Psychotherapy

We are a small group of Registered Psychotherapists (RP's) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Having worked together since 2013, we share similar views in working with our clients. Each of us is supervised by a Registered Psychologist in Ontario which permits coverage for our services under the majority of insurance plans for psychological health services. Coverage can also be provided under third-party providers including: the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board (CICB), Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis populations, and Blue Cross for Canadian Veterans. Since January 2016, psychotherapy services can also be claimed as a ​medical expense for income tax purposes.
